Lois Thacker

Mrs. Lois Kerley Thacker, age 89 of Harriman, passed away Tuesday December 24, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. She was a member of Fellowship West Church and a long-time member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Lois retired from Roane Hosiery after more than 40 years of faithful service.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Allen Thacker.

Her parents: William Ernest and Mary Martha Kerley.

Five brothers: Bud, Roger, Ray, Gordon, and Toy.

Seven sisters: Anna Bess, Myrtle, Arkie, Violet, Syble, Willie Mae, and Flossie.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Allen and Sarah Thacker.

Two daughters and one son-in-law: Donna and Hoyt Raby, and Dana Thacker.

Seven grandchildren: Brad, Jess, Archie, Caleb, Hannah, Mary, and Tim.

Four great grandchildren: Rylee, Drew, Kato, Simon, Emily, Chasity, and Kittrell.

One sister: Ilon Sexton.

Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Saturday December 28, 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brad Raby and Pastor Caleb Raby officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah cemetery with Pastor Garvin Walls officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mt Pisgah Print Shop.
