Mr. Worth E. Ellis, Jr., age 72, of Oliver Springs passed away Friday October 8, 2010 at his home. He owned and operated Ellis Heating and Air and he also worked as an instructor for the Tennessee Department of Correction teaching the Heating and Air trade at the Regional Correctional Facility in Wartburg. Worth was a member of Omega Lodge F&AM in Oliver Springs and a member of the Oak Ridge Chapter O.E.S. along with his wife Marty. They also enjoyed square dancing. Worth was a true craftsman who enjoyed working with his hands in the heating and air trade, wood working and restoring old cars. He was preceded in death by his parents: Worth E. and Mina Husky Ellis. And two sons: Gregory D. and Carl E. Ellis. He is survived by his wife: Marty Harness Ellis. Two sons: Worth E. Ellis, III and Teddy Ellis. Three daughters: Kimberly Gillespie and her husband Jerry, Tammy Pointer and Susan Simmons. Eight grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. A private service was held by the family.
