Virginia Cross Collins

Mrs. Virginia Scarbrough Collins, age 86 of Harriman, passed away Monday May 6, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Trenton Street Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by his parents: Roscoe and Bernice Wright Scarbrough. One brother: John Chester Scarbrough.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years: Ed Collins. One son and daughter-in-law: George Ed and Sandra Collins. Two daughters and son-in-law: Donna and Gary Collins and Thelma Baker all of Harriman. One sister: Betty Cook of Dayton, Ohio. Five grandchildren: John, Heather, Bryant and Bradley Collins and Travis Baker. Seven great grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Thursday May 9, 2013 at Trenton Street Baptist Church in Harriman, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Tony Boswell and Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. Family and friends will meet at Roane Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM Friday for graveside services.
