Verdel "Smitty" Smith

Mr. Verdel "Smitty" Smith, age 79, of Ten Mile, passed away at his home on Sunday May 31, 2015. He was the proud owner and operator of Smitty's Body Shop since 1973. He was preceded in death by his parents: Virgil and Delta Smith. One brother and sister-in-law: Vonel & Pat Smith. And one daughter: Robin Hicks
He is survived by one sister: Verdean Baumgartner and her husband Frank. The mother of his children: Cleo Smith Two sons: Martin and wife Kerry Smith and Brian Smith One daughter: Lashawn Smith Nine grandchildren: Crystal Pressley-Woodby, Heather Pressley, Josh Loy, Stephanie Smith, Brian Cody Smith, Katie Ariks, Karina Smith, Sean Smith, Abby Smith. Seven great granddaughters And a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Donnie Hill officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Piney Grove Cemetery.
