Velma Lee Burton

Ms. Velma Lee Burton, age 79 of Harriman, passed away Thursday October 3, 2013 at Roane Medical Center.
She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law: Judy and Dillard Bryant, Lorna Messinger, Gail and Rick Kretzer and Sherri Burton. Two sons: Jessie Allan Burton and Chris Burton. Eleven grandchildren: Misty Bryant, Christy King, Jessie Bryant, Casey Gerken, Justin Bryant, Chantel Mabry, Andrea Lee, Rocky Burton, Joshua Smith, Jessie Burton and Ciarra Burton. Fourteen great grandchildren: Hawk Bryant, Gavin Bryant, Justin Neal, Taylor King, Mason Lee, Ericka Slusher, Cody Slusher, Laura Bowling, Hunter Addison, Riley King, Logan King, Aeris Nevaeh Ann Burton, Jadon Ray Napier and Adaya Grace Napier. Three great-great grandchildren: Leah Rose, Damon and Jaxon Slusher.
The family will receive friends Sunday October 6, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. David Harmon officiating. The graveside service will be Monday at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens.
