Mr. David Brooks, age 72 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord Thursday February 21, 2013 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Carmack and Margaret Brooks. And one sister: Vivian Davenport.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Patsy Brooks. One son: Brian Brooks. One daughter and son-in-law: Angie and Larry Williams. Four grandchildren: Dustin McNew and his wife Chelsey, Kristin McNew, Samuel and Jacob Hansen. One great grandson: Cooper McNew. One brother: Charlie Brooks. Three sisters: Nona Brooks, Maxine Dew and Lou Hampton. And a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Saturday February 23, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Bro. Dale Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens.
