Mr. Thaddeus Zackery Coffey, I, age 44 of Kingston passed away Thursday August 5, 2010 the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Thaddeus was a stone mason who's work has been featured in Southern Living Magazine. He was an avid reader and active in recycling, interests he shared with his son. Thaddeus played blues harmonica and was most known for his willingness to help others. He is preceded in death by his parents: Franklin "Buddy" and Carol Ann Hall Coffey. He is survived by his son: Thaddeus "Zackery" Coffey, II His brother: Timothy Coffey. Two sisters and one brother-in-law: Brenda Coffey and her husband Randy Hamby and Sonya Coffey. His girlfriend: Michelle Slaughter and her daughter Destiny. Two nephews: Josh Coffey and his wife Jessica, Jeremy Coffey and his wife Jackie. One niece: Jessica Chasteen and her husband Michael. Great nieces and nephews: Andrew, Cheyenne, Gabrielle, Timothy, Samuel, Ashton and Gavin. Four aunts: Betty Lovin, Nellie Everett, Linda Kilby and Wanda Abston. His two beloved dogs: Rowdy and M.J. and host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Saturday August 7, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. A celebration of life service will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM in Roane Memorial Gardens.
