Sterling Rock Brown

Mr. Sterling Rocky Brown, age 55 of Harriman, passed away Monday December 6, 2010. He was of Protestant faith and an Air Force Veteran. He loved being with his family and watching sports. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mac Brown, Sr. Volena & Thurman "PeeWee" Anderson, Jr. Grandmother: Amanda "Maw Maw" Marney Mullins Aunt: Erma Marney. He is survived by his one and only true love: Bonnye Burney of Harriman. Daughters: Amanda Brown of Harriman and Melanie Sims and husband Jason of Troy, Alabama. Grandchildren: Travis Jr. and Trenton Wright of Harriman, Jason, Jada and Jasmine Sims of Troy, Alabama. Sister: Treda Bramblett and husband Lamar of Georgia. Three brothers: Mac Brown, Jr. of Jamestown, Randy Brown of Knoxville, and Denver Anderson & wife Camille of Florida. Special friends: Lisa Burney Tedder, Karen Burney Dennis and Janet Burney Sims. And a host of nieces, nephews extended family and friends. An informal gathering will be held for family and friends to attend anytime between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM Saturday December 11, 2010 at the family home, 809 Trenton Street, Harriman.
