Shirley Jean Parris

Mrs. Shirley Jean Parris, age 78 of Oakdale, passed away Thursday November 14, 2013 at The Bridge at Rockwood. She was a member of Piney Baptist Church in Oakdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Parris. And her parents: Ralph and Millie Flick.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Gwen Parris of Oakdale. Two daughters and a son-in-law: Lori and Mike Butler and Terri Gunter all of Rockwood. One sister: Patty Weeks of Palm Beach, FL. Six grandchildren: Michael Parris and his wife Amy, Matthew Parris, David Butler and his wife Amanda, Daniel Butler, Nikki and Jessica Bingham. Seven great grandchildren: Noah and Delaney Parris, Ashlin and Jaslyn Butler, Deacon and Harley Bingham, Jamie Lynn Bingham and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Sunday November 17, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Bro. Pat McGee officiating. A private graveside service will be held.
