Sharon Viers

Mrs. Sharon Jones Viers, age 75 of Wartburg, passed away, Thursday January 9, 2025, at Fort Sanders Region Medical Center in Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith. Sharon was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved quilting and cooking. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and that she is no longer in pain.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Lora Howard Jones.

Two brothers: Odie and Claude Jones.

One sister: Elinore Duty.

Three brothers-in-law: Daniel “DC” Clinton, Mack Viers, and Jack Viers.

And one sister-in-law: Ida Davis.

She is survived by her husband: Tom Viers.

Two daughters: Angela Viers of San Diago, California and Melissa Gracy of Wartburg.

Two grandchildren: Jamesa Gracy of Wartburg and Thomas Taylor of Ohio.

Five great grandchildren: Aiden Rosen, Liam Gracy, Temprence, Melisandra, and Wesley Slater all of Wartburg.

One sister: Margaret Tribble of Cullman, Alabama.

Seven brothers-in-law: Noah, Harden, Paul, Clyde, Bill, Bob, and Richard Viers.

Three sisters-in-law: Glenda Gates, Carrie Marie Yates, and Pauline Tucker.

Along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

All services will be private.
