Sarah Ann Greene

Mrs. Sarah Ann Beason Greene, age 81 of Harriman, passed away Monday November 29, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband: William H. Greene. One son: Joshua Charles Greene. Her parents: James Charles and Ella Beason. Four Brothers: Steve, George, James and Gene Beason. Three Sisters: Nona Beason Whalen, June Sanders, and Vicki Juckett Four grandchildren: Joshua Chambers, Elijah and Elizabeth Collins. One great granddaughter: Hope Greene. And a special friend: Bill Moore. She is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law: William E. "Bill" and Mary Greene of Rockwood, Walter D. Greene, Sr. of Harriman, George Greene of Kingston and James Michael Greene of Knoxville. Three daughters and one son-in-law: Ella Hensley of Harriman, Rebecca and Hershel Reed of Crossville and Carla Collins of Rockwood. Six granddaughters: Sarah Taylor, Laura Greene, Angela Chambers, Amanda McLean, Jessica Peters and Melody Taylor. Nine grandsons: Walter Greene, Jr., Robert, Chris, David, Troy and James Michael Greene, Stephen McLean, William Allen and Josh Taylor. Mrs. Greene is also survived by three brothers, two sisters and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday December 2, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Lee and Rev. Junior York officiating. Interment will follow in the Emory Heights Cemetery.
