Mrs. Sandy Lavender, age 65 of Wartburg passed away Friday October 7, 2016 after a lingering battle with cancer. She was a 1969 graduate of Sunbright High School and a member of Wartburg Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lemon and Lois Jones. Two brothers: Ronnie and Freddie Jones. Her father-in-law: Dale Lavender, Sr. And two nephews: Dustin Lavender and Matthew Lester. She is survived by her husband: Dale Lavender. One son: Adam Lavender. And one daughter: Courtney Lavender. Three grandchildren: Aubrey, Parker and River all of Wartburg. Her mother-in-law: Rosalyn Lavender. Two brothers and a sister-in-law: Billy Joe and Flonnie Jones and Doug Jones. Three brothers-in-law: Doug Lavender and his wife Tina, Dallas Lavender, and Dana Lavender and his wife Athena all of Deer Lodge. Her sister-in-law Debbie Pittman and her husband Walt of Georgia along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday October 9, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM with Pastor Carolyn Anderson and Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Graveside services will be Monday October 10, 2016 at 12:00 PM in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
