Samuel Edgar Griffin

Mr. Samuel E. Griffin, Sr., age 58 of Kingston, passed away Monday March 19, 2012 at Roane Medical Center. He was preceded in death by one son: Delmar Edgar Griffin One daughter: April Gail Griffin. And his parents: George & Alice Wright Griffin. He is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law: Samuel Griffin, Jr., Travis and Jennifer Griffin and Cody Griffin. One daughter: Debbie Phillips. Two sisters and a brother-in-law: Linda Garrett and Mary and Mike Peddicord. His former wife: Bernadine Lucas Griffin. Brother-in-law: Bennie Lucas and his wife Ronne. Sister-in-law: Patty Willis and her husband Chucky. Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday March 22, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM with Rev. John Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
