Ruby M. Biggs

Mrs. Ruby M. Biggs, age 84 of Kokomo, IN passed away Friday March 25, 2011. She retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. Ruby was a member of Courts of Praise Church of God in Harriman and attended Bethel Tabernacle in Kokomo, IN. She loved growing flowers. She was preceded in death by her husbands: James Carl Hill and Ralph Biggs. Her parents: McKinly & Eve Green Parton. Five brothers: Grady, Lee, Elmer, Ed and Carl Parton. Three sisters: Trula Faunce, Myrtle Shaw and Fay Fanning. Son-in-law: Conley Shiflet. Daughter-in-law: Joyie Hill. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Donnie & Donna Hill of Kingston, Jerry Biggs of Muncie, IN and Jeff & Julie Biggs. One daughter: Brenda Shiflet of Kokomo. Ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Brother: David Stanley Massingill of Kokomo. Sister and brother-in-law: Reba & Harrison Smith of Lenoir City. And several nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday March 27, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bethel Tabernacle Church, Kokomo, IN. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 29, 2011 at Courts of Praise Church of God, Harriman. Graveside service will follow in the Loudon Memorial Gardens, Lenoir City.
