Roy Henry Davis

Mr. Roy H. Davis, age 76 of Kingston, formerly of Eatonton, GA, passed away Saturday April 9, 2011 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Roy was a dedicated fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Lewis Davis. His parents: Caulie and Annie Wright Davis. And two brothers: Tommy and John Davis. He is survived by three sons: Dale Davis and his special friend Meredith of Atlanta, GA, Keith and Faye Davis of Cookeville and Bryan and Deanie Davis of Auburn, GA. Three brothers: Earl, Frank and Jr. Four sisters: Margaret, Peggy, Eula Mae and Ada. Four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday April 10, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 with Pastor Randy Griffis officiating. Graveside services will be Monday morning at 11:00 AM in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
