Ronald Gene Lane

Mr. Ronald Gene Lane, age 69 of Harriman passed away Tuesday May 27, 2014 at his home. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #727 in Hixson. Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army, proudly serving in Vietnam. He retired from Norfolk Southern after 37 years. He is preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Mae Lane One sister: Helen Abston. And one brother: Charles Lynn Lane. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Cleda Bunch Lane One son and daughter in law: Brian and Lisa Lane of Harriman One daughter: Regina Lane Dean of Ooltewah Two brothers: Carl Lane Jr. of Chattanooga and Connie Lee Lane of Harriman. Three grandchildren, who were the true loves of his life: Madison Lane, Asia Dean, and Tyson Dean. One aunt: Maude Lane And several other cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday May 29, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral service will be Friday May 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman with Bro. Roger Buck officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Elverton Cemetery.
