Robert Henry Buttram

Robert Henry Buttram of Kingston passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023. He was born on January 18, 1942, to Lottie and Justin Buttram, who preceded him in death.  Bob was a 1964 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and married Pamela Jackson that same year. They had one daughter, Julie, born in 1975. Bob remained in the Navy until his retirement as a Commander in 1985. They moved to Oak Ridge, where he finished his career at Y-12.

After the passing of his first wife, Pam, in 2005, Bob found love again with Glenda True Everett, who also preceded him in death.

Bob is survived by daughter, Julie, and son-in-law, Scott Shaver.

Brother-in-law: Tommy True (wife Kay),

and a host of nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Jamestowne Assisted Living and Caris Hospice for helping Bob in his final days.
