Ralph A. Young

Mr. Ralph Alvin Young, Jr., age 51, of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord Saturday April 6, 2013 at Roane Medical Center. He was a beloved son who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Harry and Mary Young and Elmer and Cecile England. Four uncles and two aunts.
He is survived by his parents: Ralph A. and Sandra England Young. One brother: Anthony Brian Young all of Harriman. Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Robin and Ronnie Bredwell of Kempner, TX and Shayne and Willie Williamson of Heflin, AL. Four nephews: Derek Richardson, Joshua Bredwell, Luke Williamson and Nathan Bredwell. One niece: Lori Reaves. Two great nieces: Emily Bredwell and Shaylie Reaves. A great nephew: Logan Richardson. A host of aunts, uncles, and cousins and a special friend Wanda Miller.
The family will receive friends on Monday April 8, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, in Harriman, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Dr. Billy Edmonds officiating. The graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday April 9, 2013, in the Pine Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with expenses.
