Mr. Ralph B. "Pete" Williams, age 76 of Harriman, passed away Thursday October 29, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Pete was well liked all across Roane County and was known by many for his radio program "Smiling for Jesus" on WBBX Radio. He was preceded in death by his mother: Lillie Mae Williams. One grandson: Rodney Williams, Jr. And his step-son: Eddie Moore. He is survived by his wife: Ella Williams. Three sons and a daughter-in-law: Darrell and Teresa Williams,, Jerry Williams and Rodney Williams all of Harriman. One daughter and son-in-law: Miranda and Michael Kennedy all of Harriman. Two step-daughters: Debra Williams of Trion, Georgia and Leona Taylor of Rockwood. One sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Conley Hamby of Wartburg. Two brothers and sister-in-law: Larry and Lila Williams of Kingston and Jim Williams of Harriman. Fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday November 1, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will Monday November 2 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Childs Memorial Cemetery.
