Ralph L. Gilmore

Mr. Ralph Gilmore, age 96 of Harriman, went to be with his heavenly father on May 1, 2013. He was a lifelong member of the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ledith Gilmore. His parents: James and Tennessee Gilmore. Five sisters: Etha Edwards, Ethel Gann, Laura Gouge, Sarah Thacker, and Allie Cagle. And three brothers: Leonard, Sam, and Houston Gilmore.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law: Linda and Ernie Harris. Two granddaughters: Melissa and her husband Seth Schweitzer, Michelle and her husband Bill Robinson. Three great-grandchildren: Lillian Schweitzer, Billy, and Beth Robinson all of Knoxville, Tennessee. And his special friends Lois and Judy Thacker.
The family will receive friends Friday May 3, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. James Jones, Rev. Kelly Wayne Sexton, and Rev. Jeff Parrott officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood.
