Mrs. Phyllis Fife Mansfield, age 61 of the Mossy Grove Community, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the founder and member of the Wartburg Book Club and a founding member the Friends of the Wartburg Library and the Austin Bead Society. She was a gifted artist and loved to play and create in her craft room. She lived life to the fullest and was a friend to everyone. She is survived by her husband, Charles Mansfield; son Zed Mansfield (fiancé Rachel Zolg) of Asheville, North Carolina; daughter Avalon and son-in-law Clynton Gourlay of Chattanooga, Tennessee; parents Malcolm and Margie Fife of Fountain Run, Kentucky; sister Tracy and brother-in-law Ralph Guffey of Shelbyville, Kentucky; brother Todd and sister-in-law Jane Fife of Bowling Green, Kentucky; brother Victor Fife; and brother Scott and sister-in-law Ann Fife of Fountain Run, Kentucky. She had one very special granddaughter, Charlie May Gourlay and several nieces, nephews and other family. She has friends and loved ones across the country.
