Opal Elizabeth Pemberton

Mrs. Opal Walker Pemberton, age 90 of Harriman, passed away Friday September 9, 2011at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband: John C. Pemberton. Her parents: James "Jimmy" and Sarah K. Buck Walker. Six brothers, four sisters and a son-in-law. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: John and Shirley Pemberton of Kingston. Four daughters and two sons-in-law: Patricia and Richard Clayton of Sunbright, Lisa Keller of Sweetwater, Tammy and Ray Lindsey of Harriman and Debbie Jones of Nashville. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 13, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
