Michael Lynn Thomas

Mr. Michael Lynn Thomas, age 55 passed away suddenly on May 8, 2021.  A 3 ^rd generation firefighter, he served Harriman Fire Department and a Volunteer firefighter for over 20 years.  He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncles and a loyal friend.  Though has was a man with many flaws, he would not hesitate to go out of his way to help someone in need.

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Haley Nicole Thomas.

Father: James Edward Thomas.

Grandparents: Cercie & Mary Thomas and Grady & Rudy Moore.

He is survived by his mother: Vivian Thomas.

Two daughters: Courtney and Ashley Thomas.

Wife: Debra B. Thomas.

Grandchildren: Waylon and Layla.

One sister: Darlene Dayne.

Longtime partner: Rose McCoy.

And many friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 13, 2021 at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. George Waldo and Bro. Brian Kamer officiating.  Graveside services will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Davis Funeral Home.
