Michael Lee Duncan

Mr. Michael Lee Duncan, age 56 of Crossville, formerly of Wartburg, passed away Monday August 25, 2014 with his family by his side. Mike served on the Morgan County Commission for four years and the State Election Commission for sixteen years. He owned and operated Duncan Department Store in Loudon for several years before closing and going into the real estate and appraisals. Mike was also an ordained Pentecostal minister. He was preceded in death by his brother: Robert Duncan. And his grandparents: Hooper and Ina Mae Duncan, Holly and Ruby Delk Tipton. He is survived by his wife of 10 years: Angie Schrimsher Duncan. Three daughters: Meredith Leigh Duncan, Sarah Williams and Jessica Williams. One son: Aaron Williams. His parents: Tony and Rita Duncan. One sister and brother-in-law: April and Joe Lester. Two grandchildren: Scarlett and Asher Williams. Four nephews: Brandon and Josh Duncan, Joseph and Patrick Lester. And a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM (Eastern) at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Charlie Lambert officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 AM (Eastern) in Waters Cemetery in Jamestown.
