Mary Kathryn Shipe, 91 of Harriman, TN departed her earthly life to join the Lord December 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of South Harriman Baptist Church. Mary was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother.
For many years she was a devoted pastors wife supporting her husband in his service to the Lord and was as beautiful inside as she was outside, generous, kind, loving and compassionate with many friends here and many that have gone on before her. Now happy to be together again.
Mary greatly enjoyed reading and studying her Bible until later years as her vision faded but she never forgot its teachings. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, generous, kind, loving, and compassionate with many friends that have gone on before her and now they are happy together again.
Mary loved the dalmatian breed so the family always had “spots.” Many were owned over 60 years with each one greatly loved and she’s hoping to see them all again.
Many thanks to Dr. Miriam Tedder and her staff for many years of unwavering care. Thanks also to Amedisys Hospice.
