Mary Lou Nichols

Ms. Mary Nichols, age 50 of Knoxville, formerly of Harriman passed away Friday December 20, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a 1981 graduate of Roane County High School and also a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville. After serving her residency, Mary became a Physician Assistant and worked in Knoxville for many years. She was baptized at Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father: Elder Walter Nichols. Her grandmother: Julia Bryant. And a special aunt: Myra Hamby. She is survived by her mother: Algie Nichols. Three brothers: Walter Kenneth Nichols, Harold Keith Nichols and Danny Ray Nichols. A special niece: Emily Anne Nichols. And a host of other nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Monday December 23, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Elder Bill Brown and Bro. Keith Nichols officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in New Hope Cemetery in Rockwood.
