Martin W. Jones

Mr. Martin W. Jones, age 90 of Jamestowne Assisted Living in Kingston, went to be with his Lord December 7, 2011. He was the longest active member of Trinity Baptist Church, Harriman. Martin served in the US navy during WWII. He was a graduate of Tri-State College of Engineering in Angola, IN in 1949. Martin retired from Union Carbide-Y-12 after 33 years of service as an electrician. He is preceded in death by his wife: Vida "Jane" Dunn Jones. Survived by adopted children: Ron & Carol Carter of Harriman. Sister-in-law: Emily Ledwell Jones of Knoxville. A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Tim McMichael officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Trinity Baptist Church.
