Marilyn Ruth Shillings

Mrs. Marilyn Cochran Shillings, age 73 of Harriman, passed away Sunday May 12, 2013 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Teenie Poole Cochran. And one brother: Stanley Cochran.
She is survived by her daughter: Cindy Shillings. Her friend and companion of 23 years: Ralph Brown. Three sisters: Jean Chambers, Ann Vought and Faye McCartt. One brother: Bud Cochran. A special niece and friend: Judy Scarbrough West and a host of other nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Wayne Nelson officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM in Emory Heights Cemetery.
