Margaret Ruth Gilmore

Mrs. Margaret Ruth Bridges Gilmore, age 79 of Harriman, passed away Monday July 7, 2014 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born in Union County, TN in 1935 to the late Walker and Annie Bailey Bridges. Ruth was especially fond of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as they loving referred to her as "Granny". Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: George Gilmore. One brother: Luther Bridges. And one sister: Treva Ellis. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah and Phil Mals, Traci and Bill Black, Melody and Rex Harrison. Two brothers: Dempsey and Obie Bridges. One sister: Reba Pope. Three grandchildren: Justin and Jennifer Mals, and Britney Black. Three great grandchildren: Dylan Insani, Jadah Warren and Ava Mals and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday July 11, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. Josh Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens.
