Lewis Lee Mayton

Mr. Lewis Lee Mayton, age 73 of Rockwood, passed away Saturday October 23, 2010 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He has been a Christian since the early 1960's. Lewis was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from Piggly Wiggly where he was the produce manager for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harve and Viola Mayton. His step-father: Oscar West. Three brothers: George, Henry and Harve, Jr. Mayton. Two sisters: Rosetta Beatty and Imogene Woods. He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Phyllis Lovin Mayton. One brother and sister-in-law: Archie and Janet Mayton of Oak Ridge. Three sisters and one brother-in-law: Charlet Gibson of Harriman, Cordelia Stout of Oliver Springs and Louise and Kenneth Terry of Rockwood. One brother-in-law: Harold Lovin of Kingston and his children: Eddie and Emily Lovin, April and Joe Dills and a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Family and friends will meet at Kingston Memorial Gardens Tuesday October 26, 2010 at 1:00 PM for graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
