Larry Webb

Mr. Larry Webb, age 83, of Harriman passed away on April 11, 2025. He was a member of 1st Christian Church in Harriman. Larry served in the US Air Force as a Staff Sargent. After leaving the Air Force he graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business. He owned and operated Webb’s Market for more than 30 years as well as Larry’s Fine Trading and Selling Store. Larry enjoyed walking the street in downtown Harriman and doing push-ups. He loved playing the guitar, writing and singing songs, and playing tennis with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his son: Shawn Webb.

Parents: Beaules & Violet Webb.

Brothers: James Webb and Terry Webb.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Verna Webb.

Son & daughter-in-law: Travis & Kim Webb.

Two brothers & sisters-in-law: David & Mildren Webb and George & Susan Webb.

Grandchildren: Hunter & wife Sarah Webb, Billee Webb, and Meghan Webb & James.

Great grandchildren: Nova and James.

Brother-in-law & wife: Bill & Joyce Hamby.

Sister-in-law: Susan Brewer.

And many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice as well as the staff on the 3rd floor at River Oaks Assisted Living.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be sent to Riggs Chapel Baptist Church, Children’s Church.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. A Celebration of Life services will follow at 7:00 PM with his son Travis Webb, favorite nephew Dr. Tommy Collins along with Phil Poe conducting the services.
