Juanita Bessie McLain

Mrs. Juanita "Bessie" Goodman McLain, age 80 of Wartburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 8, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father: Lonnie Goodman. Two sisters: Josie Goodman and Margaret Teague. Two brothers: John and Raymond Goodman.
She is survived by her mother: Edna Goodman. Her daughter and son-in-law: Melissa and Nathan Langley all of Wartburg. Three sisters and a brother-in-law: Maxie Barnes of Annadel, Charlotte Fritts of Ten Mile and Sandra and Lee Aslinger of Wartburg. Two grandchildren: Joshua Haynes of Atlanta, GA and Brittney Haynes of Wartburg. One great granddaughter: Kendra Haynes and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Friday May 10, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will be Saturday May 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Mountain Cemetery.
