Mrs. Josephine "Granny Scarbro" Duncan, age 91 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 18, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Rosa Lee Woods Wallace Two sisters: Bernice Presley and Irene Christine Daughtry One brother: Jackie Wallace And two sons: Wallace Ray Scarbro and James Alan Duncan She is survived by four daughters: Pansey Gail Brewer of Mesa, AZ, Marilyn Rose Walters of Harriman, Jean Scarbro of Harriman and Shirley Faye Lowe of Virginia One sister: Emma Ruth Hammond Two daughters-in-law: Sherry Scarbro of Tunnel Hill, GA and Ruby Duncan of Harriman Special friends: Brenda Young of Harriman, Debra Moore of Trion, GA, Linda Applebee of Kingston and Elton Gwynn of Harriman Twenty One grandchildren Thirty Seven great grandchildren And a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 22, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home, Harriman honored to be serving the Duncan family.
