Johnny Ward Cole

Mr. Johnny Cole , 82 of the Post Oak Community in Rockwood passed away December 25, 2020 at his home with his daughters by his side.  Johnny was a member of Childs Memorial Baptist Church, and a member of South Harriman Alumni Association.  He retired with 50 plus years of service with TDOT.  Johnny was a founding member of Roane County Amateur Radio Club.  KA4QYI is now a silent key.

He is preceded in death by wife of 62 years: Darla Smith Cole.

Parents: Clio Cole and Dorthy McAlpin Cole Armour.

Grandson: Cole Heide.

Special Cousin: Tom McAlpin.

He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law: Joni & Mike Mann, and Jill Cole and her special friend Paul Margrave.

Grandson: Barret and his wife Jericka Mann.

Special cousin: Naomi White.

And nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family met at 2:00 PM on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood for graveside services with Bro. Don Long officiating.
