Jimmy Lee Aikens

Mr. Jimmy Lee Aikens, age 71, of Harriman passed away Sunday July 24, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was Co-founder of Aikens Cab in Harriman with his brother Chuck Aikens and a truck driver for many years. Jimmy was a member of the Gospel Light Missionary Baptist Church in Harriman. He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Ann Aikens. Son: Stan Lee Aikens. Parents: Stanley and Edith Aikens. Brother: Chuck Aikens. Sister: Patricia Aikens. Grandson: Michael Clark. He is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law: Jay Aikens, and Jamie and Julie Aikens. Daughter and son-in-law: Leesa and Roger Laymance. Brother: Donnie Aikens. Five grandchildren: Jessica and Jacob Aikens, Rachel Laymance, Jordon Swafford, and Isaiah Johnson. The family will receive friends Thursday July 28, 2016 at the American Legion Post 53 in Harriman from 5:30 to 7:30 PM to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmy Aikens.
