Jewell Beatrice Davis

Mrs. Jewell Beatrice (Brummitt) Davis, age 88 of Harriman, Tennessee passed away Saturday June 14, 2014 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital in Johnson City. Mrs. Jewell was a member of the Central Church of Christ. She retired from the former Chamberlin Memorial Hospital in Rockwood, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband: W.J. Davis Her parents: Clyde and Ora Brummitt Two brothers: T.R. and Glen Brummitt One grandson: Justin Blankenship And one great grandson: Jackson Blankenship Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters: Sheryl and husband Mike McGraw of Cordova, TN, and Myra and husband Larry Blankenship of Johnson City, TN One brother: Eric and wife Pat Brummitt One sister: Sue and husband Jerry Johnson Two sisters in law: Hazel Brummitt and Patsy Brummitt Four grandchildren: Matt and wife Angie Blankenship, Larae and husband Phil Graves, Daniel and wife Megan McGraw, and Peter McGraw Five great grandchildren: Emma Claire and Kaylin Blankenship, Raegan and Wyatt Graves, and Hannah McGraw. And numerous other family members, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Minister Charles Brown and Mrs. Jewell's two grandsons Daniel and Peter McGraw officiating. Interment will be Thursday June 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee.
