Jerry LaRue Brackett

Mr. Jerry LaRue Brackett, age 72, went home to be with the Lord September 10, 2020.  He was a graduate of Roane County High School.  Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps.  He was Past Master of Union Lodge # 38 and Past Master of Southgate #569 Masonic Lodge, a member of Kerbela Shriners, Past Tall Cedars of Lebanon where he dedicated a lot of work to help children with MDA and Past Worthy Patron of Easter Star Chapter 405 in Kingston.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Arthur & Fae Brackett.

He is survived by his wife: Cleta Mitchell.

Two sons: Jarrett Brackett and wife Wendy and Jeremy Brackett.

Two daughters: Tracy Scalf Taylor and Kacey Scalf Whitson and husband Danny.

Stepson: Kendall Mitchell and wife Lisa.

Sister: Debbie Randles.

Niece: Ashley Randles.

And many other friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Tuesday September 15, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman.  Masonic service will follow at 1:00 PM.  Graveside services will in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood with Roane County Honor Guard providing military honors.
