Mr. Jere F. Hall, age 69 of Rockwood, passed away Sunday May 1, 2011 at his home. Jere was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he was wounded at Guantanamo Bay during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He has worked in the tire business and been associated with Goodyear Tire for more than 47 years. For the last 23 years Jere has owned and operated Hall's Service Center in Harriman. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Martha Patton Hall. And one brother: Randy Lynn Hall. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Nancy Carol Anthony Hall. Two sons and daughters-in-law: Jared and Alisha Hall, Jay and Susan Hall. One son he "discovered": Rick Crawford. Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Mike and Nina Hall, Gary and Darlene Hall. Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris and Sonny Little, Yevette and David Cline. Six grandchildren: Justin, Eric, Donnie, Dylan, Josh and Kayla. His favorite niece: Bomba Easter and a host of other nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 4, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. A Celebration of Life will follow at 8:00 PM with J.L. Pennington officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday May 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood.
