James Edward Thomas

Mr. James Ed Thomas, age 74, passed away Friday March 11, 2016 at his home. He was a member of Emory Heights Baptist Church. He loved visiting other churches and singing. Ed also loved watching Gospel USA and Walker Texas Ranger. He is survived by his wife Alice Goodman Thomas Son and daughter-in-law: James Wayne and Denise Thomas Two daughters: Linda Sue Shillings and Linda Faye Lynn. Two brothers: Roy and C.D Thomas Sister: Onie Thomas. Seven grandchildren: David, Michael, Shane, Stacy, Candace, Tim and Will. Four great grandchildren: Landon, Kelyon, Victoria and Jayden. And a host of friends and family.

The family will receive friends Monday March 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be Tuesday morning March 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Piney Grove Cemetery.
