Mr. James Paquet "JP" or "Frenchie", age 67 of Kingston passed away Saturday December 28, 2019 at his home. In his younger years he was a delegate of the Singer 59. On July 11th, 1972, He ousted Mayor Richard J. Daily at the Democratic Convention. He was a motorcycle mechanic and was Evil Knievel's motorcycle mechanic for a time. Aside from his mechanic work, he also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his parents: Walter and Dorothy Paquet Two sisters: Deborah and Dwight Copeland of Midtown and Mary and Paul MacDonald of Oswego, IL. Four nieces and nephews: Jeremy, Dustin, and Jonathan Copeland and Heather Moore. And a host of may friends and loved ones. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
