James Kenneth Lee

Mr. James K. Lee, age 79 of Harriman, passed away Thursday September 5, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the US Army. James retired as a Postal Worker in Harriman after 35 years of service. After his retirement he also worked in the Electronics department at Wal-Mart for 8 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert E., Sr. and Rella Roberts Lee. One sister: Carlene Thompson. And one brother: Robert E. Lee, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Ira Bingham Lee. One son and daughter-in-law: Christopher & NaJuana Lee of Atlanta, GA. One daughter: Sherri Lee of Harriman. Two grandsons: Robert Collins of Knoxville and Zachary Collins of Rockwood. A special nephew: Robert Lee, III and his wife Lynnita of Harriman. A special niece: Valarie Adcock and her husband John of Winchester, TN.
Graveside services will be Sunday September 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood. Military honors will be provided by the Roane County Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet at Davis Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's of Tennessee.
