James G. Coffey

Mr. James G. Coffey, age 75 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord Friday February 10, 2012 at Roane Medical Center. He was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents: William & Helen Frogg Coffey. His son-in-law: Bill Miller. A Step-daughter: Rosie Barger. 4 brothers and 8 sisters. He is survived by his companion of 30 years: Faye Human. One son & daughter-in-law: Allen & Sonja Coffey of Calhoun, GA. Two daughters & sons-in-law: Carlett & Tommy Jackson, Patricia & Jim Woods all of Oakdale. One brother: William Coffey. One sister: Barbara Newman. Grandchildren: Justin, Allison and Cooper Coffey, Jimmy and Beth Tharpe, Patrick, Nichols and Josh Woods, Andy and Cassey Woods, Nicole, Sonja and Trisha Miller. Great grandchildren: Jason Miller and Cammron Tharpe. Great nephew: Harley Coffey Gunter. Special nephews: Harold, Brian and David Tate, Dan and Larry Stringfield all of Ohio. Special friends: Doris Basler, Willie Patterson, Junior Chiles, Marty Ellison, Jamie Barger and Johnny Human. The family will receive friends Sunday February 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. John Underwood and Bro. Allen Coffey officiating. Graveside services will be Monday morning at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood.
