Ione Harness Parks

Mrs. Ione Harness Parks, age 94, of Wartburg passed away Friday February 12, 2016 at her home with her children by her side. She was a member of Annadell Baptist Church and was retired from Morgan County Headstart.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester Parks. Her parents: Harvey and Sally Belle Duncan Harness. One son: Marshall Parks. One daughter: Donna Faye Schaar. Two daughters-in-law: Faye Parks and Jeana Parks. Three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law: J. R. Parks, Benny and Shirley Parks all of Wartburg, Harvey "Oopy" and Donna Parks of Deer Lodge and Chester Joe "Ducky" and Judy Parks of Crossville. One daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Donald Coffman of Wartburg. One daughter-in-law: Rose Ann Parks of Stanfield, NC. Fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as other family and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday February 14, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Ralph Nance and Bro. Buster Armes officiating. A private graveside service will follow.
