Mrs. June Hill, age 85 of Harriman, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday October 10, 2016 at her home. She was one of the oldest members of the Courts of Praise Church. Mrs. June, also known as the "Candy Lady", was a dedicated member to her church and was a devout Christian. Mrs. June had a love for singing and for everyone she met. She became somewhat known for her delicious peanut butter fudge she would always make around Christmas time. She was preceded in death by her husband: Wyman Hill One brother: Frank Neal And several other brothers and sisters She is survived by her son: John and his wife Ann Brackett One daughter: Sherry Manalan and Bruce One granddaughter: Erin Manalan Three grandsons: Chris, Daniel and Derek Brackett Several great grandchildren And a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends on Thursday October 13, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Nick Hill officiating. The graveside service will be held on Friday October 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Roane Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home, Harriman honored to be serving the Hill family.
