Howard Gene Tidwell

Mr. Howard Tidwell, age 83 of Rockwood passed away Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Renaissance Terrace Care and Rehabilitation Center in Harriman. He retired from the United States Air Force after more than twenty years of service to his country. He is survived by one son: Loren Tidwell of Rockwood. Two daughters: Alizhia Tidwell of Milton, FL and Linda Ruiz of Douglasville, GA. Two sisters: Jane Oakley and Elizabeth Baker both of Harriman. Eight grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be held Thursday January 13, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman with Rev. Dustin Wellons officiating. Graveside services will be Friday morning at 11:30 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville.
