Harold Douglas Tate

Mr. Harold Tate, age 53 of Oakdale, passed away Monday June 23, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a loving husband, father, Papaw and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hugh L. and Edna Tate. One brother: Joe David Tate. One sister: Beverly Gail Tate Briggs. He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Melissa Tate. Four daughters: Amanda Nicole Brown and her husband Derick of Clinton, Jennifer Marie Tate, Tiffany LaShae Tate and her fiancé Charles Gulick all of Harriman and Tabatha Renea Tate of Oakdale. Six grandchildren: Tyler, Riley, Kabren, Conner, Keaton and Kayden. Three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Hugh and Ruth Ann Tate of Harriman, Tommy and Cheryl Tate of Tampa, FL and Howard Tate of Oakdale. Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Brenda and Danny Hartline of Calhoun, GA and Phyliss and Bill Weaver of Gallatin. And a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 25, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens.
