Harold "Buz" Forrester

Mr. Harold "Buz" Forrester, age 77 of Harriman, passed away Sunday April 21, 2013 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Buz loved to play poker and he also enjoyed sports especially UT Football.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Mary Forrester. Six brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Marcella Watson Forrester. One son: James Forrester. Two daughters and sons-in-law: Tina and James Thompson and Betty and Randy Edwards all of Harriman. Two sisters: Sue Roberts of Kentucky and June Howell of Harriman. Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, in Harriman, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Matt Edwards officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday morning in Harriman City Cemetery. The Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard will provide military honors.
