Goldie B. Lowery

Mrs. Goldie B. Lowery, age 84 of Harriman passed away Sunday June 29, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She loved gardening and being outdoors working with her flowers and feeding and watching birds. She is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Mary Landrum York. And one brother: Marshall York. She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Charles "Chuck" Lowery. Two sons: Maurice Lowery and wife Bonnie, and Marcell Lowery, all of Harriman. One brother: James York of Kentucky Three grandchildren: Talisha Lowery Oran of Harriman, Myron Lowery of Houston, Texas, and Marcus Lowery also of Harriman. Three great grandchildren: Carson and Camden Oran of Harriman, and Celeste Lowery of Texas. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Otis Ball officiating. Interment will be Thursday July 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens.
