Glenn Odell Williams

Mr. Glenn Odell "Pap" Williams, age 92 of Deer Lodge passed away Sunday March 4, 2012 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Glenn was born December 31, 1919 in Clinton County, Kentucky. He was one of God's special people who loved everyone. He loved going to church and was a faithful member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Deer Lodge. He was preceded in death by his mother: Edna Williams Steelman. His grandparents: Lige and Luan Williams and Omer and Lydia Williams. Three brothers; Jim, Pete and Roger. And three sisters: Jewell, Xenia and Joyce. He is survived by his cousin and caregivers: Betty and Fred Cross, who loved him dearly. Carole and Frank Hilliker. His guitar buddy: Wendell and Karen Cross. Joey and Whitney Miller. His special buddy: Earl and LaKeisha King all of Deer Lodge. Matthew Patterson and Drew and Amanda Patterson of Chatsworth, Georgia. All of his precious little play pals, who will dearly miss him: Haiden King, Corbin and Candice Patterson, Hailee and Kimberly Miller. Four brothers: Bud, Dee and Randall Steelman of Oak Ridge and Ramey Steelman of Georgia. A host of cousins and friends, his church family at Bethel Church and his best friends, Genis and Robin Hawkins and Vic and Beverly Davis. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Genis Hawkins and Bro. Vic Davis officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 12:00 PM in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sunbright.
