Gladys Pauline Shannon

Mrs. Gladys P. Young Shannon, age 95, of the Annadel Community, passed away Saturday February 14, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was of the Baptist faith. Gladys was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ben Shannon. Her parents Four brothers And five sisters. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: Donnie and Carolyn Shannon and Bennie Shannon of Annadel. Two daughters and one son-in-law: Janie West of Annadel, and Ida and Ruf Landrum of Indiana. Six grandchildren Eight great grandchildren One great great granddaughter And a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other loved ones. Graveside services will be held Friday February 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Pilot Mt. Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Nance officiating.
